# Clothing ads on an AI model, in every size your ads run

One photo of your bestseller becomes feed, story and video ads on the same model — then the same ad in new colours and prints, named for your ad sets, so you can test a style before you make it.

A real test, start to finish

## One sweater, four colours, one model

This test was made in Museify from one flat-lay photo of a cable-knit sweater. Everything below is what it produced — nothing edited afterwards.

1

### The bestseller photo goes in

Museify reads the garment — a relaxed cable-knit crew neck in ivory, hip length — and locks the cut, neckline, fabric, length and the cable pattern, so only the colour can change.

2

### Four versions on the same model

A is the sweater as it is; B, C and D change only the colour. Same model (Grace), pose, light, jeans and sneakers. Each one became a 9:16 photo and a 4-second clip.

### The test kit names every ad

One line per version, ready to paste into Ads Manager and your UTM links. This is the sheet from this test:

| Version | Ad name | One change | Sizes | UTM content |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| A | TEST-CABLEKNIT-A | Original: Ivory — your bestseller | 1:1 · 4:5 · 9:16 | test-cableknit-a |
| B | TEST-CABLEKNIT-B | Colour: Terracotta | 1:1 · 4:5 · 9:16 | test-cableknit-b |
| C | TEST-CABLEKNIT-C | Colour: Sage green | 1:1 · 4:5 · 9:16 | test-cableknit-c |
| D | TEST-CABLEKNIT-D | Colour: Black | 1:1 · 4:5 · 9:16 | test-cableknit-d |

### Run it, then read it the right way

- **Keep everything else the same**
Same audience, budget, placement, ad text and landing page in every ad. Meta’s own A/B testing advice is one variable at a time, up to five versions.
- **Test a few, not many**
Your bestseller plus two or three new versions is enough; Shopify’s guide suggests three to four at once.
- **Decide when to stop before you start**
At least a week, or until you have around 100 conversion events such as orders or sign-ups — the rules of thumb in Shopify’s guides.
- **Look at sales, not clicks**
Compare purchases or pre-orders per version, then add-to-carts. If two versions are close, call it a tie and test again.

### Mark the winner, send the factory one page

Back in Museify you mark the version that sold. On Pro and up you download a one-page spec sheet — the change, the colour value and the fabric — to send with your sample request. Until the real garment exists, the photos stay labelled as concept images.

Video ad formats

## Six clothing ad formats, all made from one photo

The four with sound come from Marketing Studio — one product photo and one line of scene, on every plan. The two without sound are the short clips a test makes for each version.

- Kenji · Flannel overshirt
“Heavy enough for fall, soft from the first wear.”
### Talking to camera
A short spoken line reads like a customer review — the style Reels and TikTok are full of.
The line we wrote
@Model wears @Product open over a white T-shirt with dark jeans in a cosy apartment, talks to the camera like a review video, tugs the collar and says “Heavy enough for fall, soft from the first wear.” Quiet room tone.

- Lucia · Wide-leg trousers
“High waist, no gaping. Finally.”
### Mirror try-on
Turning in front of a mirror shows the fit from the front and the side in one shot — what buyers check first with trousers.
The line we wrote
@Model stands in front of a tall bedroom mirror wearing @Product with a fitted white top and black heels, turns side to side to check the fit, then faces the camera and says “High waist, no gaping. Finally.” Soft music in the background.

- Omar · Puffer jacket
“Light, warm, and it packs down small.”
### Unboxing
Out of the box and straight on — the moment of getting it, which suits outerwear and gift seasons.
The line we wrote
@Model sits on his sofa next to an open delivery box, holding up @Product to the camera, then puts it on, zips it up and says “Light, warm, and it packs down small.” Rustling packaging in the background.

- Ava · Trench coat
“Rain-ready, and it still looks sharp.”
### Street walk
Walking toward the camera in real weather shows how a coat moves and what it’s for, in eight seconds.
The line we wrote
@Model walks along a wet city street in light rain wearing @Product belted over black trousers and ankle boots, tightens the belt, glances at the camera and says “Rain-ready, and it still looks sharp.” Rain and distant traffic.

- Grace · Cable-knit sweater
### Full turn
Front, side, back and front again on the same model, from the version’s 9:16 photo. With only a front photo, the back is the AI’s best guess.

## Every placement, made at its own shape

The same version (a sage green sundress on Lucia) as it comes out for each placement. The 9:16 is made tall from the start, so the whole garment stays clear of buttons and captions — and one credit covers a shot in all three.

## Questions about AI clothing ads

Is there a free AI clothing ad generator?

You can fill everything in without signing up and sign in when you click make. The Free plan comes with 20 credits a month — one credit covers a shot in all three ad sizes — and the test kit is free, with photos at 1K.

Does it write the headline and ad text?

No. You get on-model images and videos, ad names, AI-label lines and pre-order wording. The headline, ad text and button go in Ads Manager, where Meta and TikTok keep them as separate fields.

Which sizes do I need for Meta and TikTok?

4:5 for the feed on mobile, 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, and 1:1 where a square fits. Each one is made at its own shape.

Can I make video ads?

Yes. Marketing Studio makes an 8–15 second video with voice and sound on every plan. In a test, each version can also get a short 9:16 clip on paid plans.

How many versions should I test at once?

Your bestseller plus two or three new versions. Meta’s A/B tests allow up to five; Shopify suggests three to four at once.

How long should a clothing ad test run?

Decide before you start: at least a week, or until you have around 100 conversion events. If two versions are close, treat it as a tie.

Do I have to label AI in my ads?

TikTok asks for its AI label or a clear line; Meta may add an “AI info” label itself. The kit has a line for each platform and keeps the AI tag in every file. The platforms decide what runs.

Can I start from a photo with a real model in it?

Yes, but only the garment is used. The person is never edited or put in the ads; every image uses one of our AI models.

What happens after a style wins?

Mark it in Museify. On paid plans you can download a one-page spec sheet for your factory; replace the concept images with real photos once the garment exists.
