What does a clothing UGC ad look like?
9 formats clothing sellers run on TikTok, Reels and Stories — a bedroom, a street, a doorstep, a car, a fitting room, a sofa, a desk, a café and a park bench. Each clip was made from one product photo at 480p; under it is the exact scene and line we typed.

The scene we typed · Ava · 30s · size 18 · Wrap midi dress@Model pulls open a fitting-room curtain wearing @Product, ties the wrap a little tighter, looks in the mirror, then turns to the camera and says “Size 18 here — the wrap adjusts, so it sits right at the waist.” Faint music in the store.Make one like this → - Unboxing06 / 09
Unboxing
The parcel is already open and the garment is in hand in the first frame — the video starts from what it shows.
The scene we typed · Grace · 40s · size M · Chunky knit cardigan@Model, in a white T-shirt and jeans, sits cross-legged on a sofa next to an open mailer box, holding @Product, unfolds it toward the camera and says “Chunky knit, oversized, and so warm.” Paper rustle, room tone.Make one like this → - Desk to out07 / 09

The scene we typed · Kenji · 30s · men’s S · Knit polo@Model waits at a café counter wearing @Product with navy chinos, takes his coffee from the barista’s hand, turns to the camera and says “A knit polo — smarter than a tee, easier than a shirt.” Espresso machine and café chatter.Make one like this → - What’s in my bag09 / 09

The scene we typed · Hana · 20s · size S · Leather crossbody bag@Model sits on a park bench with @Product on her lap, opens it toward the camera, takes out a phone, keys and a card, puts them back and says “Small, but it fits the essentials.” Birds and distant traffic.Make one like this →
What can an AI creator say — and what can’t it?
The person in your ad is AI, so they can talk about the garment — never about wearing it, buying it or loving it for months. In the US, the FTC’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials bans testimonials that misrepresent that the speaker exists or has used the product, and a label doesn’t fix an invented experience.
- Waxed cotton, so the rain just rolls off.
- Size 18 here — the wrap adjusts, so it sits right at the waist.
- It comes in camel, charcoal and cream.
- Pre-order now — ships by March 12.
- I’ve worn this every day for three months.
- My customers keep asking where I got it.
- Five stars, I’d buy it again.
- I was paid nothing to say this.
Label it as AI
Meta, TikTok and Google each have their own AI label for ads. Turn it on when you upload.

Fabric, fit, colours and ship dates you can stand behind. Until the real piece exists, the clip shows a concept.
Use real reviews as real reviews
Customer quotes and photos belong to customers. Put them next to the AI ad, not in its mouth.

You write the line. It’s one sentence, and it should be yours.

Speak other languages
English is what we’ve tested. Other languages may work; we haven’t checked.

Questions about AI UGC ads
- Are AI UGC ads allowed?
- Yes, if they don’t pretend to be real customers. Write lines about the product, not about using it, and turn on the platform’s AI label when you upload.
- Do I have to say the creator is AI?
- Meta, TikTok and Google each ask for realistic AI-made content in ads to be labelled, and some places require it by law. Our guide to AI labels lists each platform’s label.
- Can I use my own photo with a person in it?
- Yes. Only the product is used; the person in your photo is never edited or put in the video. The person in the video is one of our AI models.
- How long are the videos?
- 8 to 15 seconds, in 9:16, 3:4, 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9. For UGC ads, 9:16 is the shape Stories, Reels and TikTok use.
- Is 480p good enough for ads?
- For a first test on a phone screen, often yes — every clip on this page is 480p. Make the version you put more budget behind at 720p or 1080p.
- Can the model hold bags, shoes or jewellery?
- Yes. Marketing Studio takes any product photo; your scene says whether the model wears it, holds it or puts it down.
- Is there a free way to try it?
- Every plan can make videos, the Free plan included, using its 20 credits a month. The first frame is free, and you can fill everything in before you sign up.
- Which UGC ad will sell better?
- We can’t tell you that, and nobody honest can before it runs. Make two or three, change one thing between them, and compare sales.
